Overview

What is Park Golf?
Park Golf, invented in Japan in 1983, blends elements of regular golf, mini golf, and croquet. It’s played with just one club and one ball—both provided—which makes it simple to learn and fun for all ages.

The club has the head of a driver (no loft) and the shaft of a putter, and the ball is about the size of a street hockey ball but slightly heavier. A typical two-person round takes about one hour.

About Rines Creek Park Golf
Opened in May 2023, Rines Creek Park Golf was one of only two public Park Golf courses in North America at the time. As of 2025, there are now 12 courses in the U.S., with more coming in 2026. Rines Creek remains the only Park Golf course in Canada and is a founding member of the North American Park Golf Association.

Our course features 18 holes, ranging from a 90-yard par 5 to a 25-yard par 3, totalling 899 yards. It’s an easy, scenic walk surrounded by nature. Located just 5 minutes off the 102 (Exit 10, west toward Maitland), the course runs alongside the beautiful Shubenacadie River, where you can often spot boats, eagles, and other wildlife.
