Port Medway Lighthouse Park

Port Medway Lighthouse Park, is an oceanside park situated on Nova Scotia’s South Shore near the town of Liverpool, next to a working wharf. Stroll the walking paths and boardwalk walkways to learn about the area’s history through the park’s interpretive panels that depict our rich maritime history, including local shipbuilding and the two Medway lighthouses.
Bring a picnic and enjoy it in the gazebo or find a spot by the gardens or near the lighthouse while taking in the views over Medway Bay and the restored lighthouse (c 1899).
The stone warehouse building next to the park hosts many summer and fall events and activities such as art shows and exhibits.
The Port Medway Lighthouse Park is open year-round however there is no winter maintenance. Onsite washroom facilities are available June to October; one accessible portable toilet is available May 15 – October 31.
