Overview
The Halifax Citadel Society (HCS) is a non-profit organization dedicated to connecting people with a part of what it means to be Canadian and, in so doing, inspire thoughtful citizenship.
In partnership with Parks Canada, the HCS administers an historical re-enactment program at the Halifax Citadel National Historic Site and Georges Island National Historic Site, both located in the heart of downtown Halifax. As part of this visitor experience program, the Society offers a number of booked tour options including: evening Ghost Tours, tour and spirits tasting programs, etc.
