Deep Sky Eye Observatory, home of the largest telescope in Atlantic Canada, invites you to experience the night sky the way it was meant to be seen—under truly dark skies in the Acadian Skies & Mi’kmaq Lands region, North America’s first certified Starlight Tourist Destination
From your first look at the Milky Way to the thrill of seeing Saturn’s rings or distant galaxies, this guided experience is designed to be awe-inspiring, welcoming, and easy to enjoy—whether you’re a first-time stargazer or a lifelong space fan.
Nocturnal Sky Theatre Experience (approx. 2.5 hours)
Relax outdoors in an anti-gravity chair with a warm blanket as your guide helps you learn the sky using Polaris and the constellations. Watch live telescope views projected outdoors on the big screen, then finish with unforgettable observing through the Phoenix telescope, Atlantic Canada’s largest telescope!
Sky Bubble Experience (Closed September 20, 2026)
Spend the night in comfort in a queen size bed under the stars in a heated Sky Bubble. A 16ft wide inflated tent with an 11ft clear vinyl dome. An incredible view of the night sky!
