Located at the “beginning and end” of the world-famous Cabot Trail in the village of Baddeck, you are close to great walking and hiking trails, beaches and panoramic views around every turn. Easy day trips from our accommodation include a visit to the nearby Alexander Graham Bell National Historic Site museum in Baddeck, the Cape Breton Miners’ Museum in Glace Bay, or the Fortress of Louisbourg National Historic Site in Louisbourg.
Our accommodations include eight inn rooms, each with either double or queen beds and private or ensuite bathrooms. Four of our guestrooms are air-conditioned and have private entrances.
A full complimentary hot breakfast buffet is served for our guests each morning between 7:30 and 9:00 a.m. Guests can comfortably relax in this beautifully renovated farmhouse which offers satellite television in the guests’ living room space or to spend time with a good book on the wrap-around veranda.
Onsite, we operate the Fiddle Shed Garden Shop, a seasonal greenhouse of carefully cultivated plants and gardening tools and supplied. Guided garden and greenhouse tours can be arranged upon request.

With a maximum capacity of 100 guests, The Barn offers an exclusive, peaceful and intimate feel without being crowded.
