Overview

Discover coastal waterfalls, flowerpot rock formations and sea caves as you explore the beautiful red sand beach and towering sandstone cliffs of Soley Cove, in the Cliffs of Fundy UNESCO Global Geopark, along Nova Scotias upper Bay of Fundy coast.

Dates: Offered year-round. This tour is tidal-dependent. Final confirmation regarding start-time will be forwarded no later than three weeks prior to your tour.

Cost: $235 per person (minimum of two participants). $335 for a solo-traveller.

How to book: Online booking is available! Final confirmation of your tour start-time will be provided at least three weeks prior to your tour.

Good to Know:

  • Duration & distance: Approximately 4-hours, 6 km (return). This tour can be customized for up to 12 km based on interest and ability.
  • Meeting point: Cliffs of Fundy Geopark Welcome Centre, 3246 Highway 2
  • This tour runs rain or shine. Rain ponchos are available if required.
  • Your guide will have trekking poles available if you choose to use them for added balance and easier navigation of the varied terrain.
  • What to wear and bring: Please bring water (1 litre per person), a small snack and sunscreen in your daypack. Wearing a hat is recommended. Ensure your footwear is suitable for navigating beaches. Closed-toe and lace-up shoes are a must for the approaching terrain to the intertidal harvest area.

  • Tours run rain or shine. Full payment is due upon booking. Advance booking is required. Tour start times and dates depend on the tides and are different every day. Cancellations are accepted up to 72 hours prior to your tour date for day tours, and 30 days for overnight tours, and are eligible for refund less a 20% handling fee. Cancellations made less than 72 hours (day tours) or 30 days (overnight tours) in advance of the tour date are not eligible for refund. Should a tour have to be postponed by Tide Rollers & Mudlarkers due to unsafe weather conditions (thunderstorms, hurricanes), an alternate tour date will be offered. In the event that you are unable to switch dates, you will receive a refund of the tour price less a 20% handling fee or you may turn your booking into a non-refundable gift certificate for the full value of the tour (no expiration date).
