Experience a blend of local charm and warm hospitality, while dining on seasonal flavours and homestyle classics at The Overstreet Café in River John. Hear the story behind nearby Seafoam Lavender Farm on a private tour before tasting and shopping for lavender products in their gift shop. Then, discover Lismore Sheep Farm, home to 200 sheep, as well as woollen and sheepskin products made on-site in their giftshop. Make sure to visit the barn and meet the sheep on the way out!

- Visitors can order lunch to-go to enjoy at Bissell Park, a picturesque, riverside picnic lunch across the street from the Overstreet Café.
- Centrally located between Pictou, Tatamagouche and Truro, along the Northumberland Shore, visitors to the Overstreet Café can enjoy plenty of opportunities to explore nearby walking and bike trails.
- Though Seafoam Lavender Farm closes for the season in mid-October, package guests will enjoy a private tour, through fall and winter.
