Overview

Perfect for thrill-seekers and nature-lovers, tidal bore rafting is one of Nova Scotia’s most iconic natural wonders. As the only Indigenous-owned tidal bore rafting company on the Shubenacadie River, we are proud that our tour includes Mi’kmaq history and makes connections to its cultural significance to First Nations people. Our experienced tidal bore rafting guides will splash through the waves and drench everyone with gallons of salty water that pushes into the Shubenacadie River from the Bay of Fundy – twice a day, every day.

When selecting your tour dates, note the tide height of the day and choose between the 2.5 hour tidal bore rafting and the 4 hour tidal bore rafting tour. Tour times change daily as tour departures need to align with the changing tides. Guests must arrive 1 hour prior to the start time listed to check-in, participate in a mandatory safety orientation, and to gear up for the tour. Select your desired date and tide height from the calendar to book.

Located just 30 minutes from Halifax Stanfield International Airport and the vibrant town of Truro, the Tidal Bore Rafting Resort is your gateway to a one-of-a-kind outdoor adventure in Nova Scotia!
