Overview

Mersey River Chalets, a nature retreat, is nestled along the scenic banks of the Mersey River in Maitland Bridge, Annapolis County. Our retreat is situated in the heart of the Southwest Nova Biosphere Reserve, a UNESCO Site and just 5 kilometers (3 miles) from the renowned Kejimkujik National Park & National Historic Site.

Choose from our diverse range of accommodations, featuring:

  • Seven secluded chalets with queen and twin beds, each equipped with a private 3-piece bath (shower) and a cozy wood stove. Chalets are wheelchair accessible and pet friendly
  • Four lodge rooms, each offering two double beds and a private 4-piece bath
  • 3 bedroom log house overlooking Harry Lake
  • Camping sites are also available

We have pet friendly accommodations for those travelling with pets; our lodge rooms do not permit pets.

Additionally, for those who relish the experience of outdoor cooking, each chalet is equipped with a convenient propane barbecue.

In addition to our accessible chalets, we’ve meticulously crafted nature trails and boardwalks that prioritize inclusivity. These pathways are thoughtfully designed to accommodate mobility devices, allowing everyone the opportunity to explore and connect with the natural wonders that surround Mersey River Chalets.
