The Lunenburg Academy of Music Performance (LAMP) is located on the top floor of the historic Lunenburg Academy, offering year-round concerts and community events in a variety of genres. With gorgeous views out of every window and superb acoustics, performances at LAMP engage Canadian and international superstars in classical, jazz, world music, and folk music. Past performers include Dinuk Wijeratne, Angela Hewitt, Barbara Hannigan, Steven Isserlis, Mike Murley, Nick Halley, the Verona Quartet, Roddy Ellias and Joel Quarrington. LAMP also hosts academies and residencies for young artists, introducing the public to future leaders in the music world. In addition to ticketed performances, LAMP presents frequent free-of-charge concerts, workshops and community events.
