Overview

This historic Cape Breton resort, Keltic Lodge at the Highlands, is located in the heart of Cape Breton Highlands National Park, surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean with a spectacular view of Cape Smokey rising out of the sea. Keltic Lodge is the perfect spot for a relaxing getaway in Nova Scotia, offering on-site restaurants, nightly entertainment, hiking trails, whale watching tours, and swimming at Ingonish Beach.

Adjacent to the resort is the 18-hole championship and top-ten Canadian golf course, Cape Breton Highlands Links.

Visit our onsite restaurant, Arduaine Restaurant & Lounge, where you can enjoy fine dining and outstanding cuisine.

Our accommodations include a variety of suites and cottages:

  • The Corson House offers air-conditioned guestrooms conveniently located beside the Wellness Centre and steps from the Arduaine Restaurant.
  • The Stanley Thompson House, named in honour of the late iconic Stanley Thompson, the architect of the Highlands Links, offers modern suites with incredible views.
  • The Courtyard Suites feature modern suites with a private bedroom, a spacious living room and a private deck.

All of our guest accommodations include either a 3-piece or 4-piece bath, television, telephone, radio/alarm clock, coffee maker, hair dryer, iron, and an ironing board. Guest features include a gift shop, Wellness Centre, and complimentary wireless Internet in public areas of the resort. All of our guest accommodations are non-smoking. We provide pet-friendly accommodations.

Dining at Keltic Lodge at the Highlands
Cuisine takes centre stage at Keltic at the Highlands. Enjoy refined cuisine with spectacular ocean views at the Arduaine Restaurant & Lounge for breakfast, lunch and dinner. After dinner, join us in the Lounge for live entertainment.

Stanley’s Sunset Grill, located at Cape Breton Highlands Links, welcomes golfers and non-golfers alike to enjoy everything – from wings and burgers to nachos and poutine – in this full-service pub that is open daily.

Pet policy
Pets are welcome in the hotel with a one-time cleaning fee of $50 CAD* per stay – up to a max of $100.00 for two pets. *Rate exclusive of tax. There are selected pet-friendly rooms available to book. Please call the resort at 1-800-565-0444 to request them and learn more about our pet policies.

Service dogs are always welcome at no charge.

Cancellation Policy: Must cancel 72 hours prior to the day of arrival for a refund of your deposit or to avoid a credit card charge.
