A European style country inn, restaurant and 63 acre forest, located near the town of Middleton, Nova Scotia open year-round, just 1 km from the Bay of Fundy.

Surround yourself with the comfort of nature; unplug, unwind. Take a hike through our forest trails, walk along the shoreline or tour the area. At the end of the day, watch an amazing sunset and relax into a sound night’s sleep in one of our comfortable guest rooms. In the morning, enjoy a European style continental breakfast in our on-site restaurant or in the privacy of your room.

Edelweiss Inn
The Inn offers six guestrooms, two suites, our off-grid Cabin in the Woods, and The Chalet tiny home, each with a private, ensuite bathroom. Each of our comfortable accommodations provide the perfect retreat after a day spent exploring or working in the area. All of our guest rooms have a kettle & tea station and garden doors that lead out to a private balcony. Most rooms offer a queen-size bed however Room 5 has two twin beds. Suite 8 also has a queen bed along with a queen-sized pullout sofa bed.

The Chalet, located close to the restaurant patio, comes with a queen bed, private bathroom, kitchen, wood stove and a private sauna for guests staying in this tiny home to enjoy.

Our cozy Cabin in the Woods has solar power for charging devices and a woodstove for heat and cooking. It has a queen bed and couch, private bathroom, and kitchenette. Please note that there is no fridge (we recommend you bring a cooler with ice for any perishable food items you bring).

Each morning, enjoy a wholesome European-style continental breakfast (included in the room rate) that is served in our restaurant. Inn guests may also enjoy breakfast in the sunroom, on the large sun deck or in the privacy of their room.

Dining at Edelweiss Inn
We offer a wide range of traditional German dishes, including schnitzel, spaetzle, roulade, black forest cake & German tortes, as well as a selection of local beers and wines to accompany your meal in our Edelweiss Restaurant.  During the summers months, enjoy live music on the outdoor patio surrounded by the beauty of nature while you dine with us.

The restaurant is open to the public. Reservations are recommended.
