Tranquil Chateau on Moody Lake is a five-bedroom, Italian-inspired lakefront home in Williamswood, 25 minutes from downtown Halifax, that sleeps 12. A private dock, an in-ground pool, a gazebo and a multi-level deck make the most of the lake; the pool opens each summer from mid-June.

Inside, a grand foyer with a vaulted ceiling leads to a gourmet kitchen and a dining room with oversized windows, and the primary bedroom has a Juliet balcony and a spa-like ensuite. A hedged private driveway keeps the estate quiet.

Crystal Crescent Beach is minutes away. Pets are welcome.
