Overlooking a historic shipyard site in the village of Canning, our fine art gallery is home to the work of artist Ron Hayes while our onsite restaurant offers an elevated dining experience that is sure to nourish and delight all your senses.

ArtCan Gallery invites many local artists to exhibit throughout the year. Inspired by the local landscape, both fine art and thoughtful cuisine can be enjoyed in the café and gallery.

Monthly gallery exhibits (March through December), a fully-stocked art store and working studio adjacent to the winding Habitant River. Celebrating twenty years, we pride ourselves in the experience of a friendly and inspiring atmosphere, often described as an “artist’s haven”.

The ArtCan Kitchen restaurant serves fresh salads, inspired soups and savoury paninis in a warm, inviting space overlooking the Habitant River. Enjoy fine art, while sipping one of our housemade fresh fruit sodas or indulge in a decadent dessert with one of our specialty coffees. ArtCan Kitchen also offers catering and a wide selection of frozen soups and entrees all carefully prepared and packaged with artistic flair and tender care, under the supervision of head chef (and artist) Michaela Hayes.
