Alternative Routes is locally owned and operated (by a woman!) and wants to make every visitor to Nova Scotia feel as though they are coming home to a place they’ve loved all along. With open arms and hearts, we want to serve with the hospitality that the Maritimers are known for, and provide a personal touch that the bigger tour operations cannot.

Alternative Routes offers a daily hop-on-hop-off service that visits Peggy’s Cove, Lunenburg, and the Annapolis Valley. We take the alternative routes, the roads that are less traveled, to visit places that have locals wanting to be tourists when they see our Instagram stories.
