Kentville Pumpkin People Festival

Visit Kentville this October to experience the magic of the Pumpkin People!

Each fall, the Pumpkin People take over Kentville with creativity, laughter, and lots of photo ops. This year’s event runs from October 3rd to 25th, 2026. You never know what kind of silly antics these gourd-headed folks will get up to next—but you do know it’ll be fun!

• Over 300 Pumpkin People will be pop up all around town in clever and unexpected ways.
• You’ll want to follow the map and travel West to East along Highway 1, starting at Exit 14 (Coldbrook), heading into Kentville, and continuing through Park Street and Main Street. This route hits all the best displays with no tricky turns or one-way streets to navigate!
• Make a day of it! Stop downtown for breakfast, lunch, or a cozy drink. Our local shops and restaurants are so happy to welcome you. Find all the best spots to eat and drink here.
• Shop shop shop! Think the Pumpkin People are unique? You should meet our shopkeepers! They are just as fun, quirky, and unique as the businesses they run. Check them out ahead of time here.
