Taking place September 14 – 20, 2026 on the Halifax Waterfront at Sackville Landing, the annual Halifax Ganesh Festival is a traditional Indian celebration that includes a cultural village of art and food, decorations, performances, kids’ workshops, and more.

Now celebrating its 8th year in Halifax, Ganesh Festival is a celebration that brings people together through culture, music, food, art, tradition, and community and it’s where generations connect, friendships begin, cultures are celebrated, and unforgettable memories are made.

Over the festival’s eight days, everyone is welcome to take in cultural performances, live entertainment, delicious food, family activities, community showcases, interactive experiences, and so much more.

No matter where you’re from, you’re invited. Admission is free!
