Chester Village Christmas returns November 27–29, 2026, bringing three days of festive fun to the seaside village of Chester. The weekend kicks off with the Tree Lighting Ceremony at the Chester Bandstand, complete with carolling, hot chocolate, cookies, and Santa and Mrs. Claus arriving by fire truck. On Saturday, enjoy family-friendly favourites including the Gingerbread Fun Run, Merry Match-Up Hockey Tournament, Festive Fashion Pet Parade, kids’ activities, and live music. Festivities continue throughout the weekend with local shopping, art shows and auctions, gingerbread displays, Christmas tree sales, and seasonal food and drink events. On Sunday, wrap up the celebration with wreath making, a Community Christmas Concert, a holiday film at the Chester Playhouse, and more.
