Agricola Open Street Sunday

Join friends, family, neighbours and business owners in Halifax’s North End on Sunday, September 21 from 12-4pm, for Agricola Open Street Day for a day of fun! Agricola Street will be closed to motor vehicles and open to pedestrians walking, biking, rolling, and using other forms of active transportation between the intersections at Cunard Street and Almon Street.

Activities and entertainment include:

• Shop local at the makers market, community yard sale, and Agricola Street small businesses
• Try new and delicious foods from Agricola Street restaurants and local food vendors
• Explore Agricola Street in a new way by walking, biking, rolling, and other forms of active transportation

Open Street Sunday happens annually throughout Halifax, helping to animate Halifax’s city streets and public spaces with activities, events, and entertainment! Open Street Sundays encourages people to enjoy their community in a new way by walking, biking and moving around safely and comfortably on the street.
