Wayside Camping Park, located in Glen Margaret along the South Shore region of Nova Scotia, provides a quiet and cozy camping experience. The South Shore has a lot to offer and Wayside Camping Park provides a great home base for exploring this beautiful region.

We are just a short drive from the fishing village of Peggy’s Cove and the world-famous lighthouse. In less than a 30-minute drive, you can explore craft shops, art galleries, go kayaking, canoeing, whale watching, or bird watching, walk along a sandy beach or play a game of golf.

Our accommodations include 90 overnight sites with electrical (30/50 amps), water, and sewage hook-up, some unserviced, as well as 60 seasonal sites. We offer open and wooded sites on 200 acres across from an ocean inlet. Guest amenities include flush toilets, washrooms, showers, a disposal station, fireplaces, wood, ice, a pay phone, and a Wi-Fi hotspot. Outdoor activities include ocean swimming, a boat and kayak launch, a playground, and hiking trails. Big rigs are welcome and we have RV washing available.
