Overview

Formerly the 16th stop on the Windsor & Annapolis Railway, this Tudor Revival train station opened in 1919 and was closed in 1990 when passenger service was stopped in rural areas of Nova Scotia.

In 1994, it reopened as a restaurant and has changed hands and names until 2023 when it became Junction Sixteen.

Discover our menu offering Canadian-Italian dishes that you can watch being plated up in our semi-open kitchen. Choose from a selection of small plates to share, artisanal pizzas and pastas and mains. We are able to accommodate vegetarian, vegan, dairy-free, and gluten-free requests along with most food allergies and sensitivities.

Pull up a chair at the bar to experience our expertly crafted cocktails and mocktails along with our extensive list of local, national and international wines, beers, and spirits.

In the summer and fall months, dine on our patio or take you meal to go with our new take-out windows, allowing everyone to order everything from pizza to soft ice cream.
