Surfing in Halifax, Nova Scotia is the perfect half day adventure to have during your stay and East Coast Surf School has just the surf experience for you! Located just a 30 minute drive from downtown Halifax at Lawrencetown Beach Provincial Park offers everyone the opportunity to take a surf lesson to ride a wave for the first time… or the first time in Nova Scotia. Nova Scotia is regarded as the most consistent surfing location on the east coast with the late fall and winter months offering world class surf conditions and the summer months offering ideal conditions for everyone from beginners and first time surfers to seasoned surfers.

Led by professional surfer, Nico Manos, East Coast Surf School offers four daily beginner lessons that include a surfboard, wetsuit and surf accessories for each participant. Surf equipment rentals are also available. Choose from a beginner surf lesson, a private surf lesson or for groups – book a group lesson. • Beginner surf lesson (1 hr lesson, includes full day rentals): $85/person
• Private surf lesson (1 hr lesson, includes full day rentals): $95-$105/person
• Group rates (5 – 50 people): $75/person
