Kejimkujik Dark Sky Weekend

Join the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada (RASC) and Parks Canada during the 17th annual Kejimkujik Dark Sky Weekend, taking place Friday, August 7 to Sunday, August 9, 2026.

Did you know it takes 20 to 30 minutes for the human eye to adapt to the dark? Please use only a red light when joining us for night programs to protect your night vision and that of other visitors. Dark-sky kits can also be rented at Keji!

Kejimkujik Camping and Accommodations

• Campsites and rustic cabins at Jeremy’s Bay Campground and oTENTik and Ôasis accommodations can be booked online via the Parks Canada reservation system.

Weather

• All programs will proceed if the skies are overcast but we will cancel programs if it’s raining.

Parking

• Parking at the Sky Circle is limited, so please walk to the Sky Circle.
• Day-use visitors: please park in parking lot P2 (Amphitheatre parking lot) and walk to the Sky Circle.
