Lunenburg Folk Harbour Festival

Save the dates for this year’s Lunenburg Folk Harbour Festival, taking place in Lunenburg August 6-9, 2026!

Get your toes tappin’, grab your camera and get ready for four days of folk music fun for the whole family! Some of the best artists representing traditional and contemporary folk music, from both near and far, will grace stages throughout picturesque Lunenburg. Between salty breezes and sweet harmonies, you will quickly discover why we’re Nova Scotia’s longest running folk music festival.

Take in our Folk Steps – Women and the Power of Song day conference, along with free voice, music and dance workshops.

Daytime performances are held in the mornings from 10:00am-11:30am across multiple stages in Lunenburg while afternoon performances are held from 1:00pm to 5:00pm across five indoor and outdoor stages. Our evening concert is held at the main stage tent from 7:00pm to 11:00pm.
