Kempt Shore Music Campout (Retro-Weekend)

Join us during this two day family music event that takes place along the banks of the famous Bay of Fundy on Nova Scotia’s Kempt Shore, featuring live music with retro dance bands each evening.

Bring your tie-dye, hula-hoop and long hair and be prepared for fun! Fans also enjoy and can showcase their talent in our open mics. This event gives fans a chance to be up close and personal with the artists. Kempt Shore Music Campout is also known for the field jammin’ which everyone can be part of.

Open mic will start Friday & Saturday late afternoon and then two retro dance bands will perform each evening. Fans not only come for the music but also enjoy our 1,000 feet of beachfront, breathtaking sunsets and fishing for striped bass which are usually running at this time. Kempt Shore Ocean View Campground hosts two annual family music events which feature some of Canada’s best singer-songwriters in acoustic music. The campground is open from June 1st to Sept. 30th and is located 25 minutes from Windsor, 1 hour from Halifax, on Highway 215, Kempt Shore. The campground hosts large and small private functions throughout the season, so book early to hold your event here. Concessions, first aid and security on site.
