Overview

Rines Creek Park Golf opened in May 2023 as one of only two public Park Golf courses in North America and as of 2025, there are now 12 courses in the US, with more opening in 2026. Rines Creek remains the only Park Golf course in Canada and is a founding member of the North American Park Golf Association.

Our course features 18 holes, ranging from a 90-yard par 5 to a 25-yard par 3, totalling 899 yards. Park Golf is played on shorter fairways – 9 holes can’t exceed 500 yards in total – and our course features 18 holes spanning 899 yards, with individual fairways ranging from 25 to 90 yards. The course runs alongside the beautiful tidal Shubenacadie River, where you can often spot boats, Bald eagles, and other wildlife as you enjoy playing on an easy, scenic walk surrounded by nature.

Rines Creek Park Golf is located just 5 minutes off Highway 102 (Exit 10, west toward Maitland).

What is Park Golf?
Park Golf, invented in Japan in 1983, blends elements of regular golf, mini golf, and croquet into one. It’s played with just one club and one ball – both provided – which makes it simple to learn and fun for all ages.

The club has the head of a driver (no loft) and the shaft of a putter while the ball is about the size of a street hockey ball but slightly heavier. A typical two-person round takes about one hour to complete.
