Coastal Adventures provides outfitted sea kayaking tours (day and half-day) from their base in Tangier along the Eastern Shore. They also offer extended tours (3-8 days) to Atlantic coastal islands, along the Cape Breton Highlands and the Bay of Fundy.
Beginners are welcome. Introductory and advanced sea kayaking courses with Paddle Canada certified instructors are available. Family, youth and all-women programs are offered.
We also rent equipment for those who wish to kayak on their own. Additional accessories for rent include cold water gear (wet suits, pogies, neoprene hoods and booties), compasses, tow ropes, paddle floats and VHF radios. A kayak centre, with a meeting room, washroom/shower facilities are on site.
