Bundle up and join us for our annual Christmas on the LaHave Parade of Lights presented by Michelin, and Fireworks!
The 2026 Parade will take place on Saturday, November 28th, starting at 6:00 p.m. with the route departing from the Nova Scotia Community College Lunenburg Campus on High Street, continuing down Empire Street and along King Street, ending at Dufferin Street.
Following the Parade, approximately 7:15 PM join us for a spectacular fireworks display over the LaHave River in Downtown Bridgewater.
Parade Highlights:
- Honourary Parade Marshalls
- Letters for Santa will be collected along the route
- Donations/contributions for the Food Bank will be collected along the route
- Performance by the Bridgewater Fire Department Band (TBC)
- The Bridgewater Farmers’ Market will have a Pop-Up Shop at 123 Empire Street (TBC)
- Sensory Friendly Area will be between NSCC on High Street to Empire Street intersection. This zone is ideal for anyone of any age who wishes to take in the parade experience but has challenges with loud noises and flashing/strobing lights.
