Overview
The Isabel Simpson Heritage Centre, located in Springhill in the Bay of Fundy & Annapolis Valley region, displays many artifacts, photos, clothing and machinery from early life in Springhill. The Museum houses a large collection of newspapers on film, as well as other heritage and genealogy resources that continue to be added.
The museum, located near memorial stones marking the site of the former Springhill Coal Mines, is an extension of the first nursing station built by a mining company in North America (c 1947).
