The Healing Forest Nature Walk

Join Denise of ShoreGirl Adventures on a guided nature tour at Anthony Provincial Park. Explore the Bay of Fundy’s rich coastal landscape, hear insights about native plants and their traditional uses, and find a deeper appreciation for the natural world and its connections to local heritage.
Come and enjoy a peaceful, hands-on experience that brings the park’s biodiversity and history to life!
Experience Highlights:
- Explore Anthony Provincial Park with your guide Denise, resident and horticulturist, as she shares local and historical insights on a 1.2 km relaxed trail walk.
- Feel the calming, peaceful effect of the forest as you make your way along the wooded trail overlooking the Bay of Fundy coastline.
- Discover native coastal plants found along the trail and hear how they were traditionally used for medicine, food and wellness.
- Engage all five senses as you listen to a variety of bird calls and the wind and waves; notice textures of bark and moss, and breathe in scents of the coastline and wooded trails to foster relaxation and connection to this special place.

- $20 per senior (70+) and student (under 18)

Be sure to provide the number of tour guests in your party, your preferred tour date, and the name of the tour you’d like to book. Denise will get in touch to confirm your booking within 48-hours of your inquiry.
Good to Know:
- This tour is not considered accessible and may not be suitable for those with mobility challenges. Guests will walk about 2 km during the tour.
- ShoreGirl Adventures recommends wearing sturdy footwear that you don’t mind getting dirty as well as dressing in layers as it can be cooler on the coast than in-land. A water bottle, sunscreen, sunglasses, hat, and camera are also recommended.
- There are public washrooms available in the picnic area at Anthony Provincial Park, as well as parking on site.
- Payment is taken via Cash or EMT and a waiver must be signed at the beginning of the tour.
