Maple Adventure: Jeep Tour & Taste

Buckle up for a 3-hour guided adventure in the Cabot Trail’s Margaree Valley with Cape Breton Backcountry Adventures. Explore the valley landscape by Jeep, while hearing local stories and insights on the region’s rich history, local wildlife and fishery. Stopping at Margaree Valley Maple, you’ll hike or snowshoe through the maple grove, learn how maple syrup is made, and enjoy a tasting of their locally produced maple syrup.

• 2-hour guided Jeep tour of Margaree Valley with Cape Breton Backcountry Adventures
• 1-hour guided hike or snowshoe at Margaree Valley Maple to tour the maple grove, learn how maple syrup is made, and have a maple syrup tasting
• Bottle of Margaree Valley Maple syrup to take home with you

This tour package is offered as follows:

January 14 to April 29, 2027 on Thursday to Sunday

Tour Times: 9:00am and 1:00pm

Price: $150 per person

Pick up Location: The Dancing Goat Cafe & Bakery, 6289 Cabot Trail, North East Margaree

What other details should I be aware of?

• Children under 12 are free (one child per paying adult).
• There are no washroom facilities at the pickup location. Please plan to use a facility before arriving.
• Please contact Cape Breton Backcountry Adventures for special requests, such as an alternative pick-up location or preferred tour destination
• Advance booking required. Minimum of two guests required for the tour to take place; maximum of four.
• Guests must notify Cape Breton Backcountry Adventures at least 24 hours in advance for a refund. Cancellations within 24 hours of the tour start time will not receive a refund.
