Five Islands Ocean Resort & RV Campground is situated along the spectacular red rock shore on the north side of the Minas Basin (between Truro and Parrsboro) in the Bay of Fundy & Annapolis Valley region. We are an open family campground on the ocean with large sites and a breathtaking view of the Five Islands and the incredible Bay of Fundy tides.
Our resort and campground is directly on the shore of the Bay of Fundy, nestled in a scenic valley sheltered between the mountains and the islands. There are several activities for outdoor enthusiasts including hiking, fishing, kayaking, beach-combing, clamming and golfing. Or you may want to hunt for amethyst, Jasper and agate that have made the area a great find for rock-hounders and geology buffs.
We have 112 overnight sites (30- & 50-amp electrical hookup, water hookup, sewage hookup, unserviced; pull-throughs available) plus 10 seasonal sites, 3 cabins and 1 rental trailer.
Our three cabins include:
Cottage A: two double beds and a half bathroom (toilet and sink), kitchenette with mini fridge, microwave, and a deck with a view of the campground and bay.
Cottage B: queen bed and bunk beds with a half bathroom (toilet and sink). kitchenette with mini fridge, microwave, and a deck with a view of the campground and bay.
Cottage C: two bedrooms and full bathroom with a shower, full kitchen with oven and full-sized fridge, and a deck overlooking the campground and bay.

At low tide you can explore the beach, go clamming, and rock hounding.
Pets may be permitted in campsites with prior permission. Sorry, no pets in rental units.
Nearby attractions include restaurants, a fish market, the Anne Murray Centre in Springhill, Fundy Geological Museum, Ottawa House By-the-Sea, and Parrsboro Golf Course in Parrsboro, Joggins Fossil Cliffs UNESCO World Heritage Site in Joggins and the Cape d’Or Lighthouse at the Cape d’Or Coastal Park in Advocate Harbour, to name a few.
Cancellation Policy: 7 days prior (by 1pm) before scheduled date of
arrival. After that time, a non-refundable deposit will go on credit card;
however, funds can be released to take advantage of the cash discounted rate
upon arrival. (Note: Deposit held on credit card varies – one night’s fee is the
standard deposit for campsites, bookings in rental units and all bookings that
include a long weekend will require full amount of stay). Non-refundable deposit
can be transferred onto a voucher which is good for a year if notified by 1pm, 2
days before scheduled date of arrival ($7 fee for this service). After 48 hours,
no changes can be made to bookings. Sites will be kept available until 11am on
the day after scheduled arrival date, but released without refund if campers do
