Good to Know:

  • Your guide, Anna, is accredited and well-versed in the Bay of Fundy tides and Soley Cove’s unique features. It is not advisable to explore the coastline along Soley Cove on your own due to the unpredictability of tidal pinch points.
  • Duration & distance: 4 hours, 6 km. This tour can be customized for up to 12 km based on interest and ability.
  • Meeting point: Five Islands Lighthouse Park, in Lower Five Islands, with washrooms on site. Alternate meeting point if arriving from Truro: Cliffs of Fundy Geopark Welcome Centre, 3246 Highway 2 in Economy. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the tour start time. Exact time will be confirmed once your tour is booked. After meeting with your guide Anna and receiving a quick introduction to the area and the Cliffs of Fundy Geopark, you will follow your guide in your vehicle to the trail head (less than 10 minutes away).
  • What to wear and bring: Hat, hiking boots or, at a minimum, runners with sturdy tread are a must. Dress in layers to keep the wind/sun out. The weather can be unpredictable. Rain ponchos available upon request. Bring a backpack with drinking water and your preferred snacks. If you would like to take pictures, bring your camera with fully charged battery.

Cancellation Policy: Advance booking is required; tour times depend on the tides and are different every day. All tours require a minimum of 1 person, max 6. Cancellations must be made at least 72 hours in advance of scheduled tours. If your tour is cancelled due to poor weather conditions, there will be no charge and we will try to rebook your tour.
