Be delighted by an Afternoon Tea experience in the heart of one of Canada’s finest gardens! Relax beside the twisted wisteria or under the ancient oak, follow the flowering labyrinth and pause to take in sweeping views of the Bay of Fundy and Landscape of Grand Pré UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Fresh-cut flowers grace the tables, songbirds flit through the shady trees, and earthy aromas will tantalize your senses. Within your basket lie delectable treats made in-house, each bite hinting at aromatic herbs.
Package Includes:
- Admission and self-guided tour of award-winning Tangled Garden
- A gourmet Gardener’s Wildflower Basket from the Tangled Garden kitchen, packed in a hand-woven basket with:
- Fragrant Earl Grey, Black Rose, or Chai tea OR locally sourced French-pressed coffee,
- Freshly baked scones with homemade lemon curd, a dollop of clotted cream and tiny jars of Tangled Garden’s herb-infused fruit preserves,
- Sweet bite-sized house-made patisseries (zesty citrus tart, indulgent chocolate raspberry roulade and a seasonal fruit flan),
- Traditional English tea finger sandwiches.

Price: $60 + HST per person
How to Book: Online booking is available. Reservations are required. Please reserve a seat/basket for each person in your party. A booking fee of $8.70 + tax, per person, is due at time of reservation and is taken off each basket on the day of your picnic. The remaining amount is paid in the retail shop when you return your basket.
Good to Know:
- Picnic reservations run rain or shine.
- Gluten free, dairy free, and vegan options are available. Please select the basket option you require at time of booking through the online reservation system.
- Friendly, well-behaved dogs are welcome if kept on leash at all times and Tangled Garden is made aware at time of booking.
- Upon arrival, pick up your basket in the Tangled Garden shop and choose your beverages.
