Overview

The Claymore Inn & Suites is located in Antigonish, the “Highland Heart of Nova Scotia”, in the Northumberland Shore region. This charming town is ideally positioned between Cape Breton and Halifax and hosts the longest-running Scottish Highland Games held outside of Scotland. Our hotel is just minutes away from the Highlands Games events at Columbus Field and we are also in close proximity to many local festivals, restaurants, shops, beaches, hiking trails, golf course, museums and art galleries as well as a weekend farmers’ market.

Our accommodations include 33 air-conditioned hotel units (queen, double, or two double beds), with a 4-piece bath, cable television, radio, phone. Cots are available for a fee, and cribs are available at no extra charge.

Guest amenities include an indoor heated pool, sauna, hot tub, microwaves, mini-fridges, and coffeemakers. Other onsite features include a picnic area, as well as air-conditioned banquet and meeting rooms for conferences, weddings, family reunions, and more.

Our onsite restaurant, Justamere Café & Bakery, is open seven days a week, 7am to 3pm; until 5pm for the coffee bar & bakery.

We are a GREEN hotel and a proud member of the Tourism Industry Association of Nova Scotia. All major credit cards are accepted.

Cancellation Policy: Must cancel before 4pm on day of arrival for a refund of a deposit or to avoid a credit card charge except for the following periods: Credit card charged immediately for reservations during the St. FX Graduation and Homecoming weekends (first weekends in May and October). For these weekends, must cancel 14 days prior to day of arrival.

Team or Group bookings: Must cancel by 4pm, 48 hours prior to the day of arrival. After this time all rooms must be paid.
