Discover our award winning Cape Breton Island distillery, tucked in the foothills of the Cape Breton Highlands that has been recognized nationally and internationally as North America’s first distiller of single malt whisky.

Guided on-site distillery tours of Glenora Distillery are available daily from mid-May to late October. No appointment necessary. Tours run from 9am to 5pm daily, starting on the hour. Tours are approximately 20 minutes long and guests are provided with an opportunity to sample product at the end of a tour.

Tours are $7 per person; children accompanying an adult are free of charge. Must be 19+ in order to participate in a tasting on a tour or in the dining room and pub.

Onsite, you’ll also find the Glenora Inn and our mountainside chalets along with our dining room and pub, and gift shop where you can enjoy live entertainment while dining and extend your stay in our region by staying in our accommodations. Enjoy the scenic grounds and be sure to take in one of the free daily ceilidhs.

Bus tours and groups are welcome. Distillery tours for groups require an appointment to accommodate.
