Overview

Parade Square Patio is a new outdoor patio and beer garden located within the Halifax Citadel National Historic Site. Newly opened in mid-September 2026, the patio is open be open on weekends from 11am to 4pm until the end of October.

Pull up a seat on the parade ground within the walls of the Halifax Citadel National Historic Site and enjoy a lobster roll, smash burger, fish & chips or poutine from our Citadel Coffee Bar menu which also features a beverage menu that includes local beer, wine, and coffee and tea.

Dine surrounded by history within the historic North Magazine of the Halifax Citadel.
