Originally built as a sea captain’s home close to 200 years ago, The Farmhouse continues to shine with its historic elegance while offering a comfortable, updated vacation home stay to all who have the opportunity to stay here. This four bedroom, three bathroom home comfortably accommodates 8-12 guests, making it the perfect accommodation for families and friends with its spacious commercial kitchen for meal prep and dining in the formal dining room with its long harvest tables. We welcome guests staying in the Farmhouse to unwind by the woodstove in the cozy parlour on a crisp fall or winter evening or to take in the panoramic views from the wrap-around deck of the surrounding fields of grapevines that grow the very grapes used in the creation our award-winning Avondale Sky wines.

Located within a restored 180-year-old former church that was transported 40 kilometres over the Bay of Fundy, home of the highest tidal range in the world, we welcome you to experience our Nova Scotia farm winery through a wine tasting featuring our award-winning wines in our tasting room, to enjoy a light lunch or a divine dinner in our restaurant, to take a vineyard tour, and to visit us during one of our special live events.
