The 7 Virtues: Alchemy & Apéritifs

Engage your senses with a fun, hands-on Halifax adventure that begins at The 7 Virtues Perfume Atelier on the scenic waterfront. Guided by an Alchemist, create and personalize your own 50ml custom perfume. Then, make your way through a hidden Atelier passageway to Bar Sofia for a Nova Scotia-inspired margarita flight, complete with tasting notes and insights from your knowledgeable bartender.

Perfect for friends or small groups visiting Atlantic Canada and looking for a unique Halifax experience!

Experience Highlights:

• First, be guided through a hands-on fragrance creation to find your perfect scent, at The 7 Virtues Perfume Atelier, on the Halifax waterfront:
  • Learn The 7 Virtues story, Nova Scotia’s own sustainable perfume brand—exclusive to Sephoras worldwide, at the flagship Atelier.
  • Craft your own 50ml custom fragrance and personalize it with a name and custom box, guided by The 7 Virtues Alchemists.
• Next, head to Bar Sofia through a secret backroom passage, in true VIP fashion and:
  • Enjoy an exclusive flight of three half-size margaritas or mocktails featuring Nova Scotian inspired flavours and ingredients.
  • Learn tasting notes and margarita making tips from a knowledgeable bartender who will share the stories and inspirations behind each unique margarita.

Dates: Offered daily, during regular business hours, from September 15 to November 14, 2025, and January 19 to March 6, 2026.

Subject to availability. Must be booked 48-hours in advance of your preferred experience date.

Price: $150 + tax, per person. Must be booked with a minimum of 4 guests and a maximum of 6 guests. A $10 deposit, per person, is due at time of booking to secure your spot.

• Experience start times available from 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm (Atelier closes at 7:00 pm).
• This experience is approximately 2–2.5 hours in total: ~60 minutes at The 7 Virtues and ~60–90 minutes at Bar Sofia.

• Guests can purchase perfumes from The 7 Virtues collection during their visit, with exclusive offers available to experience participants!
• Paid parking is available at Queens Marque (beside the Muir Hotel) and nearby side streets.
