Overview
Experience nature’s bounty with all of your senses on a working herb farm and botanical sanctuary as you tour 73 raised bed gardens, the on-site pond, fields, and the cozy workshop space. Complete your visit with a guided Appalachian tea ceremony and local sourced snacks, led by your host.

- Enjoy a guided walk through the diverse ecosystems at Herbal Hill Farm where regenerative agriculture and sustainable living have been a passion for three decades!
- Tour the raised garden beds and everything growing in them as you learn plant harvesting insights.
- Participate in an Appalachian tea ceremony and savour delicious, locally-sourced snacks and beverages
- Take home a small gift to remember the day
- Learn about Herbal Hill Farm’s citizen science gardening project

Price: $69 per person + HST and 6% booking fee
Good to know:
- This experience is for individuals aged 16+
- This experience is not accessible for guests with a wheelchair, walker, or with significant mobility challenges as there is a fair amount of walking on uneven terrain and the guest washroom and workshop are up a short flight of stairs.
- You will be outside for 1-2 hours, so please bring a hat and sunscreen or long sleeves to protect against the sun in summer, and warm outdoor clothing in the spring and fall. Wear clothing that you don’t mind getting dirty and comfortable walking shoes that can get damp or muddy.
- If you have any dietary restrictions or allergies, please make sure you let Herbal Hill Farm know at time of booking or least one week in advance of your experience.
- Guests are invited to bring a pen and notebook, camera, reusable water bottle, insect repellent, and binoculars if they wish, although these are optional.
- All supplies required to participate in the experience will be provided for your use.
