  • The trail is part of the 590 hectare (1450 acre) Pugwash Estuary Nature Reserve under ownership and stewardship by the Nature Conservancy of Canada (NCC). NCC is Canada’s leading national land conservation organization. Since 1962, NCC and its partners have helped to protect 20 million hectares, coast to coast to coast.
  • The trail is co-managed by NCC and the Friends of the Pugwash Estuary, a volunteer-led registered charity dedicated to protecting the estuary.
