Four Winds Charter, located in St. Margaret’s Bay in the South Shore region, offers scenic tours, nature cruises, as well as pleasure and fishing charters.

St. Margaret’s Bay’s pristine natural beauty provides the perfect venue for an excursion, where you can explore the natural habitat of eagles and herons while watching for dolphins, seals, various seabirds and whales.

You’ll ride in comfort aboard Four Winds I, our classic 45-foot Cape Island–style tour boat, built right here in Nova Scotia. Don’t let her traditional good looks fool you; this is a modern vessel, well equipped for both safety and comfort. Fully approved by Transport Canada and licensed to carry up to 30 passengers, Four Winds I offers plenty of space whether you’re joining a regular tour or booking a private charter, while still maintaining an intimate atmosphere.

Inside, you’ll find a heated wheelhouse for cooler days and a clean onboard washroom (yes, there’s a restroom on board). Outside, the spacious open deck is perfect for photographing the coastline, spotting wildlife, or enjoying a picnic at sea. With a wide, stable design and up-to-date navigation and safety equipment, Four Winds I is built for adventure. She even seems to have a personality of her own, and by the end of your trip, we hope you’ll be as fond of her as we are.
