Camper’s Haven Campground
Overview
Camper’s Haven Campground is a 45-acre open and wooded campground situated on Trefry Lake, 5 km (3 mi) east of Yarmouth, in the Yarmouth and Acadian Shores region. We offer a wide variety of activities for the entire family. Our guests can enjoy swimming and fishing in Trefry Lake, a 30-acre spring-fed lake stocked with trout every year. Yarmouth and its surrounding areas offer a variety of activities for visitors. There are 5 golf courses within a 1-hour drive, beautiful parks, historic walks, fishing villages, museums, great shopping, restaurants, and much more. Nearby attractions include the W. Laurence Sweeney Fisheries Museum, historic Seaport Sea Captains‘ House Tour, Yarmouth County Museum, Firefighters’ Museum of Nova Scotia, the Cape Forchu Light station, and dark skies.
Our campground offers 160 overnight sites (15/30/50-amp electrical, water, and sewage hookups), including big-rig pull-thrus, unserviced tent sites, 3 camping cabins, and 2 rental trailers, plus 50 seasonal sites.
