Whether you’re visiting Nova Scotia for the first time, planning a family day out, or looking for a hands-on learning experience like no other, Beaty Centre offers a vibrant and memorable experience for families, explorers, and ocean enthusiasts alike. Meet fascinating local marine species, wander through engaging exhibits, and discover the incredible world beneath Nova Scotia’s waters.

Visitors can also experience the remarkable scale and beauty of blue whales. Suspended from the ceiling, the skeleton of an adult blue whale measuring 18 metres in length serves as the centrepiece of the space.
