Drive your own side-by-side/UTV on a guided Cape Breton Highlands adventure to Cape Clear, one of the region’s most scenic viewpoints.

Join TNT Outdoor Adventures for a guided side-by-side tour from the base of Hunter’s Mountain in the Crowdis Mountain Wilderness Area to Cape Clear. At more than 1,500 feet in elevation, Cape Clear offers sweeping views of the Cape Breton Highlands, Margaree Valley, and Margaree River. Along the way, your knowledgeable guide will share a side of Cape Breton many visitors never see, with opportunities to spot wildlife, take photos, and enjoy snacks on the trail.

Experience Highlights:

• Take a 4+ hour guided side-by-side adventure through the Cape Breton Highlands with TNT Outdoor Adventures.
• Drive your own UTV/side-by-side on highland trails.
• Explore with an experienced local guide leading the way.
• Receive hands on instruction on operating a UTV/side-by-side and follow safe riding protocols before heading out.
• All safety gear, including helmets and glasses, is provided.
• Stop at the on-trail Pig & Whistle warming shelter for local snacks.

Offered: Daily, May 1 – December 1, 2026

Price: $660 per side-by-side + HST. Each side-by-side accommodates up to 2–3 people, depending on the vehicle.

Good to Know:

• Tours depart from TNT Outdoor Adventures’ base camp at 1072 Cabot Trail, Hunter’s Mountain, at 9:00 a.m. Please arrive 15–20 minutes early for safety orientation and gear fitting.
• Drivers must be 19 years of age or older and have a valid, non-restricted driver’s licence.
• A $2,000 damage deposit is required per side-by-side.
• Wear closed-toe footwear, such as sneakers or hiking boots.
• Advise TNT Outdoor Adventures of any food allergies at the time of booking.
• An accessible washroom is available at TNT Outdoor Adventures’ base camp.
• All participants must sign a waiver before the tour.
