Overview

Explore a side of Nova Scotia’s Atlantic coast that few visitors ever see on a guided scuba adventure at two distinct dive sites near Halifax. Descend into a cold, current-swept world of rocky ledges, kelp forests, and surge channels carved by powerful tides. Watch lobster crawling across the bottom, groundfish holding steady in the current, crabs working the rocks, and schools of mackerel flashing overhead. This is true North Atlantic diving, with its own skills, rhythm, and rewards that dedicated divers cross oceans to experience.

Before each dive, your divemaster will brief you on the site, what to watch for, and how to move safely and comfortably in the water. Between dives, warm up onshore with a picnic lunch, share stories with your group, and soak in the coastal scenery.

Tour Package Includes:

  • Full day guided adventure with Great Earth Expeditions
  • Scuba diving tour of two of the region’s best ocean sites, near Halifax. All dives are entered directly from shore (no boat transfer required). Tours are led by a PADI-certified Divemaster guide.
