Overview

Reconnect in nature on a two-night escape at As the River Bends Retreat, with all of the comforts of home. Choose from thoughtfully designed geodesic domes, two-bedroom cottage, or the pet-friendly treehouse, all with private hot tub, BBQ, and propane firepit. During your stay, head to School Street Studio Glass in nearby Hantsport to create your own fused glass art piece and enjoy a delicious local sourced breakfast each morning.

Package Availability: Offered daily, from September 16, 2026, through April 30, 2027. Subject to availability.

Package Cost: Starting at $647.00 + tax for two nights, based on double occupancy in a dome accommodation.

How to Book: Click ‚online booking‘ to check availability for your preferred arrival and departure dates. Be sure to select two nights and add the ‚Connect & Create Escape‘ package option to secure your booking.

Good to Know:

  • Please let As the River Bends Retreat know your preferred glass art experience date and time and they will book your experience at School Street Studio Glass. The studio is open Monday through Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
  • Check-in time is anytime after 3:00 p.m. and check-out time is by 11:00 a.m.
  • The Cedar dome is barrier-free and located closest to the driveway and fire-pit areas.
  • Enhance your stay with a Movie Night add-on or Secret Garden Sauna add-on!
  • There is Wi-Fi however cellphone coverage is limited. The retreat is truly a place where you can disconnect to reconnect!
  • Pets are welcome with their responsible owners in the Oak Cottage and the Pine Treehouse (treehouse not available in winter).

  • If your reservation is cancelled fourteen (14) days or more prior to your arrival date you will be eligible for a full refund. If your reservation is cancelled less than fourteen (14) days, but more than three (3) days prior to arrival, an admin fee of 25% of the total booking will be charged. Cancellations made less than three (3) days prior to your scheduled check-in date are not eligible for refund and the total amount of the stay will be charged.
