Experience a real working Nova Scotia maple farm in Avondale, just 10 minutes from Windsor and less than an hour from Halifax.

Saturno Maple Farm is a small family farm producing pure Nova Scotia maple syrup from sap collected from our own maple trees. Visitors can discover the maple syrup story, explore our farm shop, and book a private, family-friendly maple farm tour.

Our private guided tours offer a behind-the-scenes look at how maple syrup travels from tree to bottle. Guests can try traditional maple tree tapping, walk through our sugar woods, see our tubing and sap collection system, and learn how sap is concentrated, boiled, filtered and bottled. You’ll also see the real tools, equipment and technology used on our working maple farm.

Tours are approximately one hour and are private to your family or group, allowing plenty of time for questions, photos and a relaxed visit. During the active maple season, guests may see parts of the maple-making process happening in real time, depending on weather and sap flow. During spring, summer and fall, demonstrations and our working equipment bring the complete maple syrup process to life.

Visit our little farm shop to take home pure maple syrup made right here on the farm, along with a changing selection of maple treats, preserves, gifts, souvenirs and other small-batch farm products. You do not need to book a tour to visit the farm shop.

Saturno Maple Farm is family-friendly and a great stop for visitors exploring Windsor, the Annapolis Valley and the Bay of Fundy region.
