Overview

The Anchorage House & Cottages, located in Hubbards in the South Shore region, overlooks the beautiful boating paradise, St. Margaret’s Bay.  Our central location is great for visiting Halifax, Peggy’s Cove, Mahone Bay, Lunenburg and the Annapolis Valley.  We are close to restaurants and beaches, and centrally located for day trips.

Anchorage House is an five suite, 7.5 bathroom coastal inn overlooking Hubbards Cove. Each suite comes with a private bathroom, TV, and a coffeemaker though each comes with additional features as well. The entire inn can be rented and can accommodate up to 18 people.

In addition the suites, we offer 12 cottages ranging from studio, 1 and 2 bedrooms, each with fully equipped kitchens and private bathrooms. Each of our cottages has a TV along with a private deck with a BBQ. Some units have a fireplace and/or whirlpool tub as well as living space and kitchens. Fox Point, Hubbards Cove, Queensland and Black Point Cottages are available year-round for seaside getaways.

The sleeping cabin is a smaller, intimate unit that is perfect for two people. It comes complete with a private bathroom, coffee machine, TV and private deck.

Property amenities include an outdoor heated pool, hot tub, sauna, children’s playground, and a private wharf.
