Mabou School of Cape Breton Step Dance

Experience the rhythm of Cape Breton!

Come enjoy a week of percussive dance and traditional music in scenic village of Mabou with the Mabou School of Cape Breton Step Dance. This dance camp features some of the island’s finest dancers, musicians and Gaelic singers and is led by Melody Cameron, a Mabou based fiddler and dancer with over 40 years of experience. Open to participants ages 12+, the goal of the step dance camp is not only to offer high quality dance instruction, but to also to give participants a well rounded Cape Breton experience of Mabou and surrounding areas through off-site group activities including a square dance, distillery tour and a Cape Breton House Party event.

Price: $395 per person.

Admission Details:

• Admission covers all instruction and admission to presentations offered by the school as well as admission to the family square dance, distillery tour and the Cape Breton House Party.
• It does not include accommodations or meals. A full list of area accommodations will be provided to participants upon registration.
